The zero-order quarter wave plate of CRYLINK quartz air gap is composed of two quartz wave plates with a spacer in the middle. The fast axes of the two quartz wave plates are perpendicular to each other, and the phase difference between them is π/2. The wave plate is pre-installed in the black anodized aluminum ring for easy installation and use. Quarter wave plate is often used to convert linearly polarized light into circularly polarized light. Compared with the glued quartz crystal zero order wave plate, the air gap is formed between the two quartz wave plates in the air gap zero order wave plate. This structure is suitable for high power laser applications.
